No es Logico! There's no Explanation!
 As many of you know, Antonio was in the hospital in the month of February for 5 days. We were quite concerned with the results of the tests done during his stay. His doctor and his lung specialist told us that Antonio's lungs were scarred, and that they had fibrosis. We were also told that only 78 percent of his lungs were working, and that he was only breathing at this percentage. The MRI and CT scans showed that the bottom of both of his lungs were black and stiff, and that the lungs were not working as they should. They took many blood samples to send back to the states, thinking that Antonio might have some sort of auto-immune disease. The doctors then told Antonio that he would not be able to preach or teach for 8 weeks. We were not given any medicine, just something for pain.
During the 8 week period, we had to go back in for a couple of doctor's visits. Our doctor insisted-no preaching or teaching. During this time we prayed diligently, asking the Lord to step in and perform a miracle. The lung specialist told us to be prepared to do a biopsy on Antonio's bronchial tubes (they were deformed), and on his lungs (requiring open surgery). We were quite worried, and asked you all to join us in prayer.
Last weekend we held our annual Ministers and Wives Conference, along with Rompiendo Barreras. Bro. Hopkins our Regional Director spoke with Antonio, saying that he had to recognize that he was sick, even if did not want to be. The next morning, our National/Field Superintendent, friend, and fellow missionary, Bro. Steve Shirley preached an outstanding message. He made an altar call for those who were in need of a special touch from God. Antonio was the first at the altar. Bro. Shirley came, wrapped his arms around Antonio, and prayed a prayer of faith. The national brethren then surrounded Antonio and layed hands on him. He says that during this time of prayer, he felt the healing hand of God!
 We arrived at the appointment yesterday in trepidation-but also with a peace that passes all understanding! We knew that whatever the outcome might be, it would certainly be the will of God. After 9 hours at the hospital doing different tests, including CT scan, MRI, blood work, and breathing tests, we were told to go home and return today.
When we walked into the lung specialists office, he looked at us, and shook his head. The first words out of his mouth were, "NO ES LOGICO." It's not logical. No explanation. We didn't know where he was going, so we asked, "what do you mean?" He responded, "Don Antonio is breathing at over 100 percent. The fibrosis is gone from his lungs. The scarring is gone from his lungs. The blood work came back from the states. There are no auto immune diseases. His lungs look completely normal and healthy. I cannot explain what happened during these two months, especially since he was not on any treatment. NO ES LOGICO."
We smiled-and told him that GOD HAD HEALED ANTONIO'S BODY! What is not logical to man....what has no explanation....is easily explained by us! We serve an all healing, all powerful God!
Thanks to each of you who have been with us on this two month journey of prayer. We know that prayer ALWAYS makes a difference. Antonio can now preach and teach to his heart's content-Doctor's orders!
